Multenet will soon release it’s new version of the Power Agent, a powerful SNMP adapter for UPS systems. The new Power Agent is specifically designed to provide network management and multiple open standards like HTTP, Telnet and SNMP and now includes support for UPS Serial Protocols including Static Transfer Switch, Megatech Single Phase, Megatech Three Phase, Matla Three Phase and Contact Closure.
The Power Agent can be configured to work with the Multenet client shutdown software, PowerDown. PowerDown client shutdown software offers a timed shutdown and messaging service, and is available for a range of Operating Systems including Microsoft Windows, Linux, Sun Solaris and Novell Netware.
